🟡 Here’s a quick update on the PancakeLock protocol (GRV token unlock issue)

Our team is working extremely hard and as we proceed with the gathering of feedbacks from the Beta launch to help us achieve a better version coming out soon, we have found a few issues which we are stamping out here today.

We found an issue.

The problem is GRV token is not fully compliant with BEP-20 standard https://github.com/binance-chain/BEPs/blob/master/BEP20.md due to elastic supply, it contains the rebase mechanism.

So it changes the number of tokens on balances depending on the conditions, usually used by the team to keep the price of the token.

For Example — Mr X locked 0.00000020 GRV token, but rebase changed the amount of tokens on the contract balance to 20 GRV, since this amount changed and increased from the initial deposit/lock, Mr X’s tokens can’t be unlocked.

We have also asked for assistance/advice from other projects that are in the same industry.

This same problem is on all dapps like DeepLock, Cryptex even on Uniswap, as they all advice not to use tokens with mechanics like Rebase.

We will release more updates soon on GRV but what we know now is that the problem is from the GRV token and not our contract.
